what makes easter so special?

the most infinite among us

this was, in fact, the Easter that meant the most to me. Jesus lives, more than ever not only in everything around us but in us as well. this was the first time I could truly feel how strong that sacrifice was, how painful it was. what struck me most was when Jesus felt fear too he felt a sadness too, a sadness he himself called deadly. and that, along with the very few times we ever saw him weep, was when the most infinite among us was closest to each of us.

Jesus chose love

he could very well have destroyed everything as he suffered on that cross, bearing the greatest suffering there ever was. He chose love. and that is why all of this humbles me.

He lives, he reigns.

why is easter so special?

even after all that, he proved that love is stronger than suffering.

and that alone is why Easter is special.

"Jesus served as King and ruled as servant."
